In 2017, industry veterans Dan Chaney, Steve Maloney, and Bruce Callen — founders of the original Teres Solutions SAIL product — joined forces with 1st Community FCU and Y-12 FCU to create Sync1 Systems. With decades of combined experience in credit union lending technology, the team had a clear mission: build a modern loan origination system that truly serves credit unions as partners, not just customers.
Today, with 16 credit union owners and a 7-member advisory board, Sync1 is the CUSO that puts credit unions first. Our fee structure reflects our values — a one-time implementation fee plus a charge per funded loan only. We earn revenue when we deliver real value.
